Lot's of IP #privacy talk today so bear in mind that 95% of all #VPN providers are actually data collection farms in particular FREE providers. Yes, they record everything you do and some of them even use the tunnels of other providers because those FREE services have their server credentials in the damn source code. True story.

I've been using that lightning method to pay for mullvad for a few months. I need to top up my credit with mullvad now but the vpn.sovereign.engineering site is not working for me at the moment. Carl Dong, the creator of that site, is on Nostr but not active. Wonder how to let him know his site is not responding?

I just looked and you're right damn! The login works but attempting to top up gives me a 400 error. Maybe he's still on X or some other place? Would suck to lose the LN option Mullvad.

Yea, I was down to my last few hours before I needed to top up so I had to use an on chain payment, unfortunately. Really hope that his site is only temporarily out. Would be good if Mullvad accepted Lightning payments directly really.
