Bitcoin does not win a lot of votes. Politicians posture to various niche groups to harvest their vote with minimal effort. That’s how you build your grassroots support from outside - in, capturing larger and larger groups of people.

#[4]​ is right. You don’t win voters by promoting issues so that they don’t personally care about. Bitcoin is still either too controversial or too esoteric for the vast majority of people who just want to struggle less to get by. They’ll always follow the person or party who promises to solve whatever problem they think about most.

It’s a double-edged sword. He’s starting to come off as only supporting bitcoin so that he *can* win votes.

It won’t be enough. He can’t even compete in the primaries with this strategy.

He never had a chance in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♂️
