Why not swap them into Monero and back afterwards?
That doesn't break backwards link of the kyc. Only forward link. Which means they can see i own btc.

Perhaps the fault is in the design of a system where doing this is possible at all to begin with.
Privacy is the most important issue that needs to be solved on bitcoin. Lightning does some tricks to make it better but we are not there yet.
