I greatly prefer the BBS or Forum mode of discussion. The twitter-esque sycophant version of discussion makes me ill. But here we are, with an opportunity. The anonymous BBS days are over anyway.
As someone who grew up on BBSs, yes. Bring it.

maybe there will be a BBS-style client some day, or a decentralized BBS or something.
Like most things that can be nostrified, there is no technical reason why not!
