Ok, so why would they give one a platform? Do you really think they want those ideals out there because they want people to hear those ideals? Vivek played the same exact role. 'They' lost many to libertarianism is recent years. 'They' are using puppets with hope & change rhetoric with a libertarian twist to bring em back. If he was legit, he wouldn't have even been 'elected'.

He’s the President of Argentina, not your neighbourhood Libertarian - his position carries weight. I imagine they thought they could do deals with him over there which is entirely possible is happening in the background.
If “they” lost so many to libertarianism, how does platforming someone who talks about Rothbard and Hayek bring those people back into the fold? That is twisted logic. Wouldn’t it rather expose more people to those ideas who would potentially then align to libertarianism?
Not every vote in the world is rigged. If the “wrong person” wins they usually neuter them through other means.
I’d be more concerned that Milei is totally ineffective at reversing course and then libertarianism is dismissed as having not worked than writing him off as a plant.
