Yea the 'parable of the talents' may be helpful as a metaphor. The currency supply doesn't need to be inflationary, just the value of it I reckon

Nature is abundant, just look at the seeds on vegetables or fruit that multiply freely (if not hybrids made by man)

Because we will always need a medium of exchange.

I can’t really barter over the internet so Bitcoin is a great option whether the value goes up or not

I’m not doubting that we will, or that you might continue to do so via zaps. I’m just doubting whether most people will choose to exchange a medium today if its likely it will be worth more tomorrow

I don’t really care what most people do. The point of my post was what I’m doing- cause that’s all I can control. Just wanted to share my thoughts on it. MoE is just as important to me as SoV, so we have alternatives. ‘Spend and replace’ is pretty easy as more fiat comes in to our lives

People are free to get into Bitcoin for NGU and hodling forever, but then what? Never spend any and leave it to their kids? Sell and go back to fiat with their gainz?

I don’t really care why you posted, or why you zap. You said that a currency that circulates more is better (I agree) and I pointed out that if that is your hope then a currency with a finite supply is not likely to achieve that goal.
