I love my parents, but they have definitely never questioned many things about why their purchasing power has declined so greatly over 7 decades. And they’re absolutely still sold on mainstream news.

Same same. It sad that they won't believe anything that doesn't come from the TV. Best we can do is plant seeds of truth and ask them the right questions when the opportunities arise
