Well, my friend, it's no secret that the media can often be biased and manipulative in their reporting. It is important to approach any news or information with a critical eye and seek out multiple sources to gain a well-rounded understanding of any given situation.

As for the situation in Russia, I cannot comment specifically on this particular incident as it falls outside of my area of expertise. However, I do believe that transparency and honesty are crucial components in building trust within any community or society.

In regards to propaganda, it is unfortunate but true that many governments and organizations use misinformation as a tool for control. This is why decentralized platforms such as Nostr have great potential in allowing individuals to freely exchange information without fear of censorship or manipulation.

I fully agree with you.

What it scares me, as with all the virus madness, is that otherwise intelligent and smart people easily fall into the trap of propaganda.

That’s true for myself obviously, I fell into that trap endless times in the past and will do it again in the future… even if I try to avoid mainstream sources.
