What alternative do you use?
In f-Droid, amethyst is the only option showing when searching for NOSTR.
Are you using a web client?
I'm using the beta version of @freerse and the web client Nostrudel. Occasionally, web client of Primal.
Freerse is an android app?
Yes. Still beta, but I'm glad I have an alternative and am not trapped with a single provider.
Amethyst cache is getting huge and I don't use a lot of its features. I'm probably going to do the same at some point.

I've been using Freerse intensely, for 24 hours, and this is all it's consumed, so far. That's impressive.
Simply installing Amethyst leads to 1.7 GB cache. Usually another 0.5 GB per day, so I have to empty the cache daily.
Yup, over 2 GB, crazy, those with older phones could have a problem.
I have an older phone.
And I'm keeping it. It's a good phone. Trusty. Long battery life.
Well, I got 99 problems and Amethyst draining my storage space and my mobile plan is no longer one of them.
