My one week #Amethyst challenge (using Amethyst only) ended yesterday.
I had to go back and confirm the date because I completely forgot.
I was wrong about some things and still feel the same about others.
Conclusion:
I've fallen in love with Amethyst and plan to keep using it.
I appreciate all the work that goes into it and can't wait to see how it improves.
They should make it possible to check your LN wallet balance
Perhaps. There could be tradeoffs I'm not aware of that they aren't willing to make.

People keep talking about Primal, but so far I'm happy with Amethyst. Maybe will give others a go down the track
Primal is good and simple, but Amethyst bends toward principles that I value. Primal is willing to compromise more for convenience, but I've decided not to. Probably not worth switching if you're rolling in Amethyst already.
