By airplane mode I assumed you meant Foreflight open, flight plan loaded and log recording.

I did my private w/o IPHONE/GPS, but I can’t taxis to the end of 27 at KVPZ without one now.

Plus my plane doesn’t have a Hobbs and I don’t wear a wrist watch so my time gets logged from ForeFlight or FlightAware.

Most commercial pilots run foreflight and would get lost without it.
