I've only ever made this twice in my life. It's not common this part of the United States. In the south, it's very common. As for the taste, I love it. It's rich and creamy and spicy because of the sausage. It's really simple to make. Just sausage and milk. And then homemade biscuits to top it off!

Oh and a little bit of flour to help thicken it up.
