Interesting note. nostr:npub1leqraca9xtyuezf4vmxa6czrepe04ynpmvjqzf7kq0v3cqnrj8vsmf0ed0 in your opinion does this also hamper #Bitcoin adoption in EU? Obviously there are many tech-saavy Europeans who use or hodl Bitcoin, but I’m especially talking about government. They have less incentive to be Bitcoin friendly when their economy won’t benefit financially from mining. In contrast, in the US you have lots of industry lobbying government to be Bitcoin friendly. nostr:note1jprccjkxuxf4572ngdp485j9zrfxggkf2jrv6ktgk5gpdgnv8raqnc46qf

The current German government is on the clock, they are not doing anything but pushing legislation that pleases their investors before they're voted out in the coming 2 years. Germany is like a firesale right now. Brain is leaving, capital is leaving. Bitcoin is so far away, nobody understands it, nobody cares. The crypto rules are de facto written by the ECB and handed to the EU parliament to be voted on. And if it wasn't for legislatures and bankers, there is still the electricity issue. It's too damn expensive Europe wide.
