Interesting side-note, I just went through a whole ordeal to buy this cup of cold brew. The new coffee shop near my train station doesn’t give out disposable cups, and they charge a 25¢ deposit for a returnable cup, which they only give you if you provide them an email address or phone number. I almost left but they were a friendly bunch of young NPCs and I didn’t want to make them sad.
I guess to be fair, most people don't give them a lot of resistance when they ask for email or phone number.
