I dream of a Nostr developer who loves art and artists making a customised client for painters, illustrators and designers in general.

Twitter-style apps are not suitable for displaying artistic works.

None of them have a portfolio or a showcase to show in the profile.

In short, I dream of a Nostr developer who takes cara.app's example and improves it.

I still want a gallery on each profile.

and something book-like for writers to group their work in, i'd add

I thought that for writers and journalists habla.news and yakihonne.com were sufficient

Try the sites we have suggested, they are like blogs made especially for writers and journalists

ah ok, I don't need it. I have a website for that. thanks though.

As well as Highlighter.com. We have great options for writers.

What is Cara and why is everyone suddenly talking about it.

Also taking a look at the site, it’s just old Instagram no? What am I missing?

That's what it essentially looks like to me. A visual focused social app without the bullshit that became Instagram.

Doesn’t Snort have a tab that basically does this. Albeit every time I go to that tab the site crashes.

I think it looks amazing because no one on Cara is shitposting memes. So it stays relatively clean / artistic.

Not sure how would you create an experience like that.

Thought I would argue memes are art mixed with humor 🀣

You probably miss the fact that the old Instagram was better than the new one and that Cara is tailor-made for artists not using AI.

Unfortunately, Cara is yet another centralised social network, but it has the advantage of having an OTP login and only requires an email that can also be anonymous.

Oh not missing that point at all! Old Instagram is 1000 times better than what we have now. 100%

Rest in Peace: Nostrgram πŸ’•

Zeum.space , I think does give artists a different way to display their work like a walkable gallery.

It is different than the site u mentioned and it's early days, but would love to continue to get feedback from the artist community!

What a wonderful idea
