# Is #Bitcoin a Safe-Haven Asset? | Chart of the Day
The elite #washtrade the exchange rate down because #BTC exchanges use an order book system so a sell or buy is just a proposal and often withdraw but not before it affects the exchange rate.
Which is why i got pissed off with #forex, because the big institutions did it day in day out: place a huge sell order, watch the price drop, withdraw the sell order and change it to a buy scooping up cheap fiat and taking my stop loss out with it.
Why do they do this? Because Bitcoin is the best performing asset in the last decade. It gets worse, someone actually made money out of it. It gets worse than that, someone (and plenty) **may** make more money out of it. It gets even worse that that (!), those #plebs may want limited real things like houses, private jets, hotels, boutiques and expensive gyms and these elite might have to wait or -- gasp! -- be denied.
