Vote? Why? So you can continue (and are now encouraging others) to blame someone else for your (our collective) problems? Relinquish more control to some remote authority you probably never have, never will meet, or exert any real influence on, ever?

Take responsibility on an individual level. That’s all you can really do.

Democracy seems to have proven a fantasy at scale. Where did you think catering to the lowest common denominator was going to lead anyway? Mediocrity doesn’t breed prosperity imho.

None of any of that discounts discipline and incremental progress either.

Ask yourself honestly, do you love to take credit for success, yet blame everything external for failures? Because that’s what I get from the call to vote. An admission of inability to provide for oneself completely (which is fine, it takes a village) but focus on the village.

Do you give a shit what one skin cell in your toe votes about where you should go today? Wake up and smell the insignificance on that level, yet find the vast significance on your own level.

What is an ocean but a multitude of drops? You certainly don’t find them putting any one drop in charge.
