why do I have to sign some credit card receipts but not others. what does the signature do for those that get us to sign vs. those that dont get our "mark"

Some are based on the amount I think. Under a threshold probably doesn’t require one. Signatures are a relic either way.

Your license is verified with a signature. When you go to the doctors and you're gonna verify documents. They ask for your signature when you apply for a job at the end of the job application. You have to verify the application with your signature. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I'm talking about credit cards. some make you sign others don't. the ones not getting the signature still get paid. so why bother?
