I remember being a kid and they had “Penny Candy Stores.” I was too young to understand why a penny became worthless as all of the Penny Candy Stores were no longer in existence by my teenage years.

Very soon the “Dollar Store” will no longer be in existence but this time I completely understand why. The system is broken. Soon the money won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on.
