i was referring to whom he quoted, i realised that may not be clear by the way the clients present it
i meant, if you didn't get it that satoshi's success at bringing bitcoin critically required him to disappear, you didn't get the whole story at all
odell quit twitter some time back ... after saying nostr only for a while, and i called him out on that, after he admitted he was still reading it
idk what to say, it's a simple fact my memory did not fail me, he was saying nostr only but still reading twitter
also, i watched someone in my real life up close who was nonstop doomscrolling twitter on his mobile lose his rationality with regard to pledges he made to me and in exchange for my efforts at ensuring he had a comfortable place to land here in madeira
i hate the big tech social media... not only they are twisting the truth they are manipulating people to value things that don't matter, and forget about things that are real, right in front of them
I hear ya.
Where do you find yourself more? The side of perfect or practical.
For me I think I spend more time on the practical side.
yeah, i try to stay practical
i'm far from a shining example of self discipline in several areas... but i try to gradually improve as i go along
i'm finally in a place of relative tranquility after years being either homeless or too poor to be able to avoid the constant stimulation from other people, so it's a bit of a process of reclaiming my own opinion in this as well, i am quite prone to being accommodating to those i am around but now i have a lot more control over that, and i think it shows because i'm exerting more positive influence on the people i choose to be around
I’d like your take on this:
Those who move the needle the most, not only risk the most. Those who move the needle the most must face the fear of hypocrisy. In fact, hypocrisy is mandatory, for all noble pursuits create within them the unavoidable trap of their own failures due to the nature of their higher aim.
We must create a new standard that can hold the tension between seemingly opposing ideas. Progress is on the other side.
needs more detail i don't quite get what it's talking about
Fair. It’s a snip of a long post.
