maybe a special relay you can add that drips ads over time but you get a monthly zap for having it?
there's definitely people out there that will look at an ad for 1 sat and there's also people out there that will pay 1 sat for those eyeballs.

Yeah, we need to figure out how to support the free Nostr infrastructure (relays, media servers, etc), because otherwise Nostr won't grow or succeed. Most ppl out there are used to not paying for social media and would (and do) gladly trade their data to big corprorations like Meta, X, Google, etc to be able to use social media for free. For Nostr to succeed we need them here and we can't charge them. So ads might be a good solution to keep the free tier alive and functional.
nostr is succeeding in my life but I see advertising as inevitably. where attention goes, money flows. the good thing is that with nostr, it will be opt in. with platforms ads and tracking are the default
