Does Wasabi automatically run over Tor, even if you haven’t opened the Tor browser application?
What if you haven’t even downloaded it?
Can Wasabi send traffic over the Tor network from within its own application?
I ask, because for the BitBox hww, it requires the Tor browser to be open.
Doesn’t seem to be the same requirement with Wasabi, but I’m curious if I’m missing something?
Yes, runs by default and can be turned off.
Cool, so there’s Tor tech built into the Wasabi application? i.e. someone could use wasabi over Tor without downloading Tor?
Apps can be made to utilize tor within the app. Usually enabled through the settings. Bluewallet, Blixt, and Phoenix wallet all have this and you don't need a separate app to run it.

Correct. Tor is already bundled with Wasabi so you get privacy out of the box without any other configuration needed.
