This seems a quiet biased note to me. It tries to fram UDSSR and Russia as liberators.

In fact these parts of land have been under the influence of the UDSSR, were suppressed from the sovjet union.

Stating the stalinist regime as a free country is nothing but loughable.

In the UDSSR as in todays Russia, the secret service was always the most powerful institution.

Back then it was the KGB today it is the FSB. In the UDSSR and today in Russia those most powerful

entities do not have the goal to free their citizen. It is clear as glass, that they do everything to surveil the activities

of their citizen and repress them, when it is opposing KGB or FSB goals. In the UDSSR it wath through Gulag training camps,

today it is with some other prisons with unhumane conditions.

These named lands got freed for the collapse of the UDSSR, not thanks to the UDSSR. This is a 180° different statement, than the one cited in your note.

So neighter the UDSSR nor Russia is or has been a liberator for citizen in their or in other countries.

Reading books about the live within UDSSR can showcase what this meant. I think by no standards, this is something compared with the liberties of people within the above named countries.
