What kind of horrible nasty things would they have done to Satoshi Nakamoto had he chosen to reveal his identitiy

I know this is a pointless thought because Bitcoin couldn't have worked the way it does without this , but imagine that Satoshi Nakamoto DIDN'T choose to remain anonymous. The character assasination would have been off the charts, he would have been framed as a paedophile well before now , I don't think it would be enough to have him killed, the software would chug on regardless, you would have to associate it's founder with something hideous and unthinkable to stop the public from ever going near it.
