Wonder why there aren't more federated side chains akin to #liquidnetwork
Seems like an easy thing for people to do that want to use #bitcoin security but add extra features missing on L1.

Well liquid works fine and basically nobody uses it
Blockstream doesn't do a great job promoting liquid.
All this development is going into other altcoin chains, when it could just be increasing adoption on new/better bitcoin L2s. Wonder why they chose to develop on Eth/Sol when they could just make a bitcoin L2 to achieve their goals.
