No it isn't.

When people lack purpose they drown themselves in pleasure

Not true

Yes it is.

The inverse is also true. People endure nearly unfathomable levels of pain for a purpose. For meaning. Something real.

These most be people living in the extremes then. I do not think I have ever met anyone that would be in these categories.

Extreme is your perception. It only says where you are.

Extreme compared in your opinion.

You think I am extreme? hehe maybe but not in that regards. Good conversation but I think we are running circles around a mute point.

Moot

lol my Spanish kicking in?

El spanish

I never said you were extreme or that I think so. I am a sexual deviant, so I'm not judging at all. I support your free will, and I love sexual freedom, and I've done what you're talking about.

but I know not to be controlled by pleasure.

There aren't circles.

But pain and pleasure are the same. They're all just variables in this. Not good or bad. Just a tell of the level one is at.
