A lot of bitcoiners I’ve spoken to are well aware (myself included) that we had to make a Faustian pact with a dystopian tech oligarchy, and four years of abject shitcoinery for Ross’s freedom.

However, that bargain doesn’t exist in a vacuum and needs to be weighed against the alternative: Ross still in prison and four years of Kammunism.

Worth it.

In that case, how do you see shaking the technocrats?

Bitcoin is a dissident technology. Well put it to good use

How much does it cost? Oh you had to use state money, therefore not dissident

For sure, I'm with you, just curious how you see it playing out... For example do you think the masses will wake to the technocratic threat enough to sway the control structure? Or will the few of us be forced to detach from and face the state head on?

I see it closer to the latter, but with a peaceful exit rather than a violent confrontation

We’ve lived through it once already, just the fact that he pardoned Ross makes it worth it for me

This is called a false dichotomy.

Also worth pointing out that you don't know what Trump will do during the remainder of his term. You can't call the trade worth it without that information.

Been thinking about what @jack said

In my little fifedom, wherever possible, I fully intend to start doing extensive bartering and or bartering with bitcoin as a medium of exchange. Anytime I sell eggs, milk, firewood I’ll give steep discounts to people willing to zap payments.

If I need new equipment, new fuel or anything like that, I’ll look for people willing to accept a bitcoin .

Every time I go to a store or restaurant, I’ll ask do you accept bitcoin .

#BTC #ADOPTION no no no to #hold #usebitcoin

Unfortunately, it seems like everyone needs to 💩coin first and then they can stay humble and stack sats… even presidents. It’s sad but for some reason almost no one goes straight to #Bitcoin

Bitcoin sucks and I hope Trumps shitcoin will destroy it

I've personally made no such deal. As an outsider, it looks like Americans chose the least dystopian option. That option has lead to Ross being freed & some of the shackles being removed from Bitcoin & crypto in the USA.

As a result more Americans will legally be able to FAAFO.

The needle has shifted towards free markets rather than controlled (for your safety) markets. Some people will be able to thrive & some will also get burnt.

I just hope that when it comes time to allocate capital, they do so for the benefit of all Americans & not just a select few.

The next 4 years should be very interesting as we draw closer to the end of the 4th turning. Bitcoin DGAF about any of it, tick tock.

Indeed. I pledge allegiance to the timechain and will go where its heartbeat leads me
