My son begged to go to McDonalds playland. Lolly Boost is down to 25 cents in BTC though lol. I’m sitting in the corner while he’s playing. Some little girl just walks up and starts eating his half eaten food. No parents around in sight. Like WTF am I supposed to do here? Adult, sure I can be tougher. A child? She wouldn’t let up even when I tried to pull it away. I just gave her the rest and told her to go eat it. Eventually her mom came in and saw her eating someone else’s food. And said “whose food are you eating now?” I spoke up and she apologized. Says she’s “autistic and does this all the time”. Offered to give me food to replace it. So bizarre.

Having autistic child must be pretty difficult for parents.
Leaving an autistic child alone may not be the ideal behavior
It's impossible to be nonstop hovering over a kid. It's physically impossible. Maybe mum was in the line and girl just went to play few meters out, otherwise she'd throw a tantrum.
It’s a hard situation but the playland is in an entirely different room than ordering. As a parent I know it’s hard to juggle stuff like this. Guessing would’ve been best for the kid to stay with mom until food was purchased and then they can home to the other play room.
Or locked in the toilet stall with her😏 Girl could simply and silently wander off.
Tough situation. Good on you though.
