Has anyone written mining software that will sit on an #AWS machine and run in the background? It’d need to shut itself down if cpu or other level was breached. Many companies have overspecced machines running 24/7 that they’ve not gotten around to auto scale yet (including where I work). They’re paying the full amount to AWS regardless of usage. This would be the small scale equivalent of stabilising the energy grids by using up “stranded” energy.
