Which ones do you use.

I have 8 wallets. I use 3: WoS for most stuff, Zeus to manage my Lightning node, and BlueWallet for its watch-only mode. And Alby for all things Nostr.

I really only use one, Zeus. The others are for very specific random cases or for testing.

OK OK wait, can you use Alby on your phone to authenticate on Nostr apps? Or if not, what's the use-case (receiving zaps, etc)?

Ashamed to admit I took a social media (Nostr included) hiatus and am incredibly far behind 🙈

No, you can't use Alby via your phone to authenticate to Nostr. I use Alby on my phone via Zeus to send and receive data from my alby wallet. I only use Alby for NIP-57 Zaps. I'll be changing back to my own hosted LN address soon thanks to BTCPAY Server's latest update.

Do BTCPay offer a LNURL service to connect to your own node???

#[6] offers lnaddresses and btcpay connect to your node… this is since version 1.3

Trying this right now!

if your looking for a lightweight version to just get lightning addresses that can connect to your node (e.g. lnd) then have a look at

https://github.com/believethehype/nostdress

Does this work by creating a public domain that resolves to your public IP address and directing the traffic to your BTCPay server?

nostrdress can’t directly connect to btcpay server. but it offers the following backend (see picture) and with forward you can add your btcpay lnaddress… but with this solution, a sender will also see your btcpay lnaddress when he pay a bill.

For BTCPay tho I would need to expose my node public IP?

I think you have. as the the ln address only works that way.

Going to hold off and hope someone offers a LNURL service over ToR to hide my Node.

I’m sure a platform like voltage.cloud could do this but I think there might be a limitation connecting to lnd (on @umbrel) because SSL isn’t enabled
