Happy dad! π
Whoever recommended we study #ThorBradley, thank you π (was it you nostr:npub1el3mgvtdjpfntdkwq446pmprpdv85v6rs85zh7dq9gvy7tgx37xs2kl27r ?). Not only is he great to study in the name of science π§ͺ & Fitness ποΈββοΈ, but he is very informative about things I never thought I needed to know about.
For example this educational videoβ¦
After watching this video, I went over to the shed and saw my dad LITERALLY had an array of axes πͺπ€― (7-8 different types!). All this time, I thought he was just randomly buying axes for the sake of it, never really grasping why he'd need more than one. I assumed they were just spares in case my grandpa or some friends came over and offered to chop wood πͺ΅π€·ββοΈ.
So, this morning after breakfast, I told my dad that I wanted to help him chop some wood for the fire place because I heard it's a great winter workout (he looked totally taken aback, but agreed with an enthusiastic "okay, let's go"). When we got to the shed, I casually said, "Dad, if you don't have two splitting axes πͺ, I could just slick up a chopping axe with some WD40 to keep it from getting stuck."
πππ Iβve never seen him so shocked and so proud at the same time! πππ
