Found the event, but it looks like your profile was updated π§

What does this even mean?
My profile was updated?
By whom and how?
1)The two links have the two versions of your profile data (name, pfp, description etc)
3) Do you know when you updated the app? The biggest clue to whatever happened is whatever happened at 4:00 GMT, since that was when your profile data updated.
Hmmm ok, I updated the app about an hour or so ago. Is this why itβs happened?
I doubt it, we donβt edit your profile randomly
This is truly very bizarre, are you able to fix it at all from your end?
Or do I need to redo it all over again?
Nobody has an end on nostr for your profile except you
I just added all the information, lasers and banner all over again.
Would be interesting to see how this can happen though, for future reference.
I think ur hacked
(Someone has ur nsec) πΉ

Seriously???
1) Might you have accidentally changed your profile? (seems most likely, and least troublesome)
if not
2) Did you log into any other clients with your nsec? Which ones and when?
if not
3) What devices have you your nsec stored? Might any of them be compromised?
If 3 is possible, it still is odd that they would know about nostr and go through the hassle of changing (just) your profile
1- no never changed anything on my profile thatβs π―
2- I did try and login to nostrnests yesterday using the Nostore extension but that was all
3- doubt anyone would actually hack me..Iβm very boring!
I know that you can log into some clients and they wipe your follow list, there's a chance something similar happened when you logged into nostrnests - especially if you logged on sometime around 4 GMT
Thatβs the weird thing, I didnβt lose the people I am following at all.
I just lost all my bio, banner and lasers.
Even my WoS account was still on there.
Its a weird thing with relays.
Its a very wide guess, but what might have happened:
1) when you logged in, nostrnests couldn't find your profile data so it looked through multiple relays
2) It found older profile data on a relay that didn't update to your most recent one
3) rather than go through the looking process again which takes some time, it published your profile relays that it usually looks through to be faster. This creates a new profile event
4) your normal relays on Damus found this "new profile" and updated because was published most recently.
