You can never really own real estate, the state does. If you don’t pay your property taxes, they take it away with force. The serfs can’t afford to buy with cash, so they in addition pay the banks interest. Yes, you have to live somewhere, as the ops parrot, but you don’t have to hold the bag. Let the boomers hold it. Buy significant amounts of btc instead. That bag will always outperform RE, forever. It is much cheaper to rent than to buy now, something the ops all said couldn’t happen.
