The bigger irony is that Hislop is one of the establishments top boys.

We live in strange times… Private Eye has reported on numerous things over the years that the mainstream is slow to pick up on but yet they ultimately seem to preserve the order.

Maybe he’ll be arrested next…

This is appalling, but the Guardian also helped caused this mess. Thing is it didn't affect their opinions before so they used it as weapon. Until they start to drop the idea that certain ideas cant be discussed, they are a bunch of low IQ hypocrites.

It's deeper than that. My uncle was a Middle East correspondent for them (and the FT) during the Iraq war. Much editorial is actual defined by the US state department. If you don't follow, you go.

That's sad to hear but inevitably doesn't surprise me, they were vastly more credible back then, but look how they treated Assange after he gave them all the WikiLeaks stuff.
