Two Internet Business Models

Social networks are shaped as one of the biggest business models: data mining (data + metadata).

This model has a name: Surveillance Capitalism.

Most people expose private personal information, from their real name, to where they live, what they eat, how their family is composed, and even personal photos... all of it to the general public and, of course, to data mining algorithms.

The #privacy business is presented as a business model opposed to Surveillance Capitalism: the Sovereign Individual.
