On nostr you have to interact with people, and find, and be noticed by, people with your interests. It's harder to get traction in the beginning, I explore hashtags and Search for terms I'm interested in, to find those people to interact with. In the long run it's worth it because of how open the Nostr Protocol is, and you can own your data like never before.
