Might get a different answer if you asked now. He was very cautious about being not wanting to be “used” by either side of the debate at the time.

Now that things have settled down, a retrospective look at the event may be something he’s open to if you give an assurance about your intentions.

Troy and I had some good chats with him. He’s a smart guy with a big heart and a lot of talent clearly.

Yes! Well I reached out via his website and his agent responded to my request with that response.

I actually just reached out to him directly, stating my intentions to have an open dialogue to show the world how a nuanced topic can be discussed in good faith, with no “gotcha” moments intended and that I respected his work and fight as a fellow environmentalist. I also mentioned to him I’d loved to also have a pro bitcoin environmentalist or two join us and that I know he’s had chats with many of you. We’ll see if he takes me up on the offer!

In general I think the nostr:npub1fpcd25q2zg09rp65fglxuhp0acws5qlphpg88un7mdcskygdvgyqfv4sld would be a great place to have convos like this about bitcoin and nuanced things like the environment, politics, etc from those who may also be skeptical of bitcoin or hesitant.
