I’m thinking of nostr:npub1w0rthyjyp2f5gful0gm2500pwyxfrx93a85289xdz0sd6hyef33sh2cu4x ‘s flow as starting with discovering Highlights and finishing with a “Reflect” action.

The whole point of Highlighter is “a nostr client to interact with the information you deem most valuable” (in contrast to the real-time value of Twitter-like clients)

And I think reflecting is a key component in connecting with that value.

Yep. Discovery usually leads the action. Twitter, medium, pretty much every platform starts with discovery. I think the tougher part of highlighter will be following enough people you know to see their highlights. Otherwise you get random people highlights and nobody cares about those. Another alternative is highlights by “thought leaders”

Guess how I’m gonna solve this? YES, DVMs!

Automatically curated topic-based highlights.

My assumption will be that people coming to Highlighter don’t know what nostr is.

If I start with that premise, how can I connect them to valuable content they care about?

That’ll be the driving thinking behind how to connect to initial content discovery.

I want the novel use case that can be explored by this tool to shine and become a massively onboarding tool for nostr.

“Aim high” they say, right?
