Hey nostr:npub1zach44xjpc4yyhx6pgse2cj2pf98838kja03dv2e8ly8lfr094vqvm5dy5 thought I'd share my current wishlist for Flare (I could add more, but these are the biggest ones I can think of at the moment):

1. In the video description at the bottom, or at the bottom of the video directly next to other elements, perhaps there would be a "Video source: Source name" hyperlink (ex: Video source: YouTube).

2. Playlists would be great.

3. Considering this is video content and Nostr (censorship-resistant), how about adding, in the creator dashboard, a "Add another source" section for a single video, where the creator would add links to different sources of their video, to protect the creator from having their video taken down (if they had a single source taken down, then go to edit the video and add another or more source), and the viewer would have the same link to view the video and nothing breaks. Plus a benefit to the user regarding point number one above, change to another source if one isn't working out for them (drop-down menu).

4. This may be long-term (I'll write an article about this): Monetization systems that, aside from the obvious to give creators money, help continue to fund the hosting and bandwidth consumption of videos on multiple hosts.

5. Future-proofing spam/scams in the comments section: Perhaps something similar to how communities work but a bit different, where there would be two tabs to the comment section, a reviewed comment section, and a non-reviewed (all comments are there). How something is reviewed is... I've yet to think of a way that doesn't entail manual review of each comment.
