Being a Bitcoiner in normie world is hard. Most people think I’m crazy and I generally have to self-censor most places I go. No one wants to face the reality of what is going on, and how to actually fight it. ‘It too much to think about’ is their rally cry as they escape towards mediocracy.

It’s rare to have conversations with normies that enjoy at all, as they feel so programmed and ignorant of everything going on around them. Challenging their views or asking them to try on a different perspective is rare. They are so brittle, uninspiring, and normal—it seems very sad to me that we all have so much potential and this is all they challenge themselves to be.

I empathize and understand why, but at the same time, I fail to understand the lack of curiosity and the drive to understand things and how the world works.

Huh?

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of people have actual brain damage from malnutrition/pesticide residue

for real. and fluoridation of their pineal gland.

“It is what it is”

I stopped watching the news a long time ago, and I believe it has been beneficial. Today, my service representative at the dealership asked me about my '21M' hat. I explained the significance, referring to the concept of #Bitcoin with its fixed supply of 21 million coins. The conversation came to a halt, and his eyes seemed to convey a sense of confusion, as if wondering, 'What on earth are you talking about?' It was quite amusing.

😉

nostr:npub1qhxy598vvcefs8zy0tyqtx0jdpgvcg0h3fv9gjx050g8ccmva66qm2xytl has a bitcoiners guide to dealing with normies coming out soon, it seems like they come in a few different flavors…..the credentialist is one of my favorites. Imagine not buying bitcoin in 2023 because Dave Ramsey said no.

Pain avoidance which ironically leads to more pain down the road. Sad

It’s impossible to unsee, once seen .. but non-trivial to comprehend

Making people curious i have found is the best approach .. or at least it’s the best approach I’ve found for me 😜

The recent union action has been an interesting topic to open people’s minds…… Broken money is the root of most problems.

They're usually trapped in their own drama man.

Don't take any of it personally.

They have their own opportunities & challenges.

Sadly, their own drama is like a blackhole. They want to drag us with them into it.

Drama is drawn to other drama.

Most of it's caused by assumptions - stories told in the mind & then expressed in words. This is the realm of the ego which yearns for recognition.

Avoid making assumptions about others & if you need to, reach for the most positive assumption you can. Do it for yourself & not out of some altruistic fiction. They're probably going through some shit at home.

Let the drama flow past you.

Just so much easier to go with the flow. Whatever. Many have not been smacked by reality in their own lives.

I resonate this.

The reason theyre so defensive of their mediocrity is a sunk cost fallacy of their sorry lives, they act spinelessly out of their fear of ostracism out of the hive mind, which they in fact resent but having a spineless cope they sugarcoat as “being stoic”.

What i generally do is, never self-censoring myself against their kind and never step down from what i’m defending. It attracts the people who keeps silent with agreeing with me and repelling the potential foes who takes side with the mediocre. I never emphatise, sugarcoat nor respect their cowardice ever, because that would be both disrespecting myself and contributing into the general lack of spine… Those are the people who always let their friends down in one’s darkest hour.

They may lack the curiosity and drive to understand things, thats fine. But if thats the case, then i simply dont want to do anything with their kind.

People that would rather be noticed than notice things

Oh wow that is bars right there!

Try to remember that being a normie in normie world is even harder.

Yeah its hard. I run into these same walls. What pumps me is that there was a study that basically said that all it takes is roughly 10% for a real movement to take off running with momentum. Even if it is a few at a time, there will be a snowball effect. So many people are sitting on the fence more than in stark opposition of bitcoin so when the benefits becomes obvious, they will jump over. Lets keep being crazy and stay the course. 💪🏾⚡

It’s impossible to do extraordinary things with basic people.

I feel you brother, especially when the topic hits interest rates and inflation becomes everyone's word of the day. Just sit back have a drink and rest in the knowledge you tried.
