Almost. You make the US address primary, leave Canadian residency, don’t hit the 183 day threshold. If you’re not an American citizen, you also don’t spend enough time in US to trigger taxes. I go south Jan-April so there’s no way I can be in either Canada or USA and risk triggering the tax threshold. You can still get VT drivers license, etc but it’s not a license with residency privileges.
