Bitcoiners should take every job in the public sector and convert 90% of their salary to bitcoin
Might have a chance to work in some ministry departments after graduating, but also curious whether I should go to private instead🤷♂️
The way I see it, someone is gonna be in that ministry job. I would rather it be Tanel than someone else.
Not sure what it’s like where you are, but in the US, public sector pay is generally lower than similar private sector job. Pensions aren’t what they used to be, and frankly, I would be skeptical of the gov’s ability to honor them in 30, 40 years
I’d probably be there for like 5-7 years, get into as high position as possible, and then switch for a private sector job. But I’ll never know how it’ll all work out, sounds good on paper
The public sector can be seen as relatively centralised in terms of its organisational structure and decision-making authority, but the extent of centralisation can vary widely depending on the specific organisation and the level of government in question🌐

I am working for the public sector in UK. Is good for the work-life balance and the entry level salary is great but after a certain level private pays x3.
Also, pension contribution from the employer is insanely high (20%) but not invested in funds.

That’s my plan. I am doing a development programme in the public for 3 years then probably going in the private.
However, depends also on your needs and goals. If you value flexibility and work-life balance or want to start a family, public is not bad.
The public sector has to be rewarded according to the objectives and benefits it brings to citizens. A ranking of the public workers that produce (as the private sector has to do in order to prosper) could be created, and these rankings should be made public in nostr. So, they can be motivated in the right way with ZAPS⚡️
