If you upload a video to YouTube, Google owns the video and can take it down of it doesn't jive with their Terms and Conditions.

Blossom hosts the video on nostr, so a copy of the video is kept on hundreds of computers. Maybe you think my video sucks, so you delete it off of your computer, but the video survives on hundreds of other computers.
