8 years ago today, my manager at work assigned me to look for good articles on MarketWatch, so he could highlight and discuss them on his local radio show. While searching, I stumbled upon a short article on #Bitcoin, and since I had heard of it once a year and a half before, and was told it was a scam, my first thought upon seeing this article was: "𝘐𝘴 𝘡𝘩𝘒𝘡 𝘴𝘡π˜ͺ𝘭𝘭 𝘒 𝘡𝘩π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨?"

Fortunately, I remembered these wise words from Albert Einstein:

So, I decided to see how deep this rabbit hole goes. Many articles and Andreas Antonopoulos videos later, I was completely blown away. I had just finished listening to the audiobook of The Creature From Jekyll Island before stumbling upon that MarketWatch article, so I understood the problem, and I was primed to realize that Bitcoin is the solution.

8 years in, however, and I know this fact above all others: I 𝘡𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘺 understand next to nothing, because this rabbit hole never ends! I'm constantly in awe of this revolution, and everyone involved in it. Thank you for choosing to fall down it, too, no matter where you are in your own Bitcoin journey! 🧑

8 years ago today, after studying #Bitcoin for about a week and a half, I tested it out by buying $5 worth of it on Conbase. 8 years ago, I got off zero, and I have never gone back.
