"now accepts Bitcoin"

Sheetz has has used Flexa for years. Flexa is a KYC and custodial app where users can load in Bitcoin and shitcoins. Flexa sells those for fiat on-demand and sends that to Sheetz. They are not accepting or receiving Bitcoin.

Only the discount is new.

I'm guessing that Flexa is subsidizing this promotion since the Paypal product just announced is a copy of their business model.

Unless I can scan a QR code and send Bitcoin from my wallet, your business is not "accepting Bitcoin".

In 3 months the consultants will look at the data and blame low consumer participation on bitcoin, not flexa

I knew there had to be some catch here. And the discount is from 3pm to 7pm daily up to $15 off.

Every big account on Twitter is posting reposting freaking out without reading the fine print. Max Kieser posted that every truck driver will be getting gas from Sheetz now because it's 50% off 🤦‍♂️

$15 of free gas every day is not a bad deal. Just know what using the Flexa service entails. KYC. Custody. Shitcoins. Tax reporting.

$15 per day free might be worth that cost for some. I just hope people think twice before making that call.

Excellent points.

Max made it sound like you got 50% off gas, I thought no F'n way
