In the 90’s everyone was worried that kids were growing up way too fast. We had bags of agency and lived in a time where hedonism was fashionable. It was work hard, play hard, 5 hours sleep and less at weekends.

In 2020’s people barely grow up at all.

Men can screw around and pull rabbits out of hats later in life. Women do not have this luxury. That’s why historically women were always more mature than men.

Do not drink the Kool Aid, in the West our popular culture is mostly nothing more than a marketing and advertising machine. They plant ideas in you to make you consume their stuff.

It’s not in the individual’s interests to pursue that stuff. You can swim in the dogma, but don’t drink it.
