USA, export of plasma and plasma therapies represent approximately 1.6% of total export by GDP. $26 bilion in 2018. More then steel and aluminium! So we create bigger trade deficit by another stupid regulation.

And how it look like in EU now?

In 2017 europe collected 7 977 00l of plasma. Germany, Austria, Czechia and Hungary contributing more then 55%

In germany where donor can recieve 25 Euro per plasma donation they need 2 258 000l of plasma, but collected 2 962 000l

And we have also example from czechia! We had change of law. In 2006 and 2007 we collected 70 130l and 90 285l of plasma respectivel. After perniting monetary compensation from 2008 to 2010 we collected 272 217l, 517 317l and 663 639l of plasma!

So we probably return to situation before 2008…
