UWOs have been around a long time but have only been used in a handful of cases. They expanded the law in 2023 and now this is the first time Serious Fraud Office has used it. The expansion of them is the entire point of the article.

I'd rather the SFO issue them than some judge or the police who have no expertise in the matter. Though I disagree with them entirely. It's innocent until proven guilty. Yes, I have a Ferrari, if you think I gained it unlawfully, prove it in a court of law🤷🏻‍♂️.
