personally prefer satscards or opendimes for gifts
A while back I think it was nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 but maybe someone else, started hiding loaded open dimes around cities and posting pictures so people could find them.
I thought, wow, plus no normal person who randomly finds a super sketch looking flash drive would ever be dumb enough to plug it into their computer 😂
#Coldcard is able to generate paper wallets safely.
This one (bitaddress.org) is pretty well known. Was the first i used in 2010
Also works offline very well
