Most people don't want guards everywhere, but they want to use all the crude oil and die.
Those of us who don't want to die might strategically benefit from forcing you to undergo the financial and psychological expense of posting guards at every conceivable target.
Clearly, if this target already had guards, this wouldn't have happened. If there continue to be no guards, it might happen again.
